Welcome to Oak Lane

Oak Lane is the Alzheimers / Dementia Wing at Golden Age of Welsh. Our goal is to supply our residents with the proven techniques used in social model of care; a properly designed enviroment, a well trained staff and a therapeutic approach rather than a medicinal one. The Oak Lane Wing staff have received specialized training by Neil Ryder. Neil is a nursing home administrator with 20+ years of experience in long-term care, 10 of these years were devoted to Alzheimer /dementia patients care.

Oak Lane provides a low stimulus, special care wing for our resident’s with Alzheimer and or Dementia related disease. It is designed to provide a safe, calm and quiet enviroment for your loved ones.We offer daiyl structured activities with our therapeutic approach to improve cognitive (memory) abilities, gross motor skills and fine motor skills.
